Great Brazilian restaurant in Elizabeth, NL. Fast and friendly service. I bought the rib combo, it was made to order and delicious. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from. I definitely recommend you give this local gem a try.
Stopped in with an old friend for lunch. Staff is friendly, street is busy and in an industrial area of Newark. Had the camarones con arroz. Parking can be tricky. Food is delicious and also very large portions.
I ordered half salmon and portion was huge for $8.50. food is tasty and service is awesome. Will visit again. Highly recommend.
I stopped here for lunch with coworkers as we were in the area for work. It is located in a shopping area next to Dunkin Donuts, which means parking lot...yey. My colleagues ordered the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 ribs for about $13. The waitress had 1 plate in her hand and the portion is so huge if they didn't say another plate was coming out, we would have been okay and thought the two orders were combined into one plate. I ordered just the 1/2 ribs for $7 and that was huge also. Both orders came with rice and fries. Newark is filled with good bbq, and this one is also good, especially considering the price and portion. Before our orders we were given complimentary bread, which was surprisingly good since it was just enough crunchiness on the outside and softness in the inside. The place was casual and filled with the working lunch crowd both ordering to-go or staying to dine, but not overly crowded. We didn't wait long and service was good. Minimum $10 for credit cards with a 7 percent extra charge if paying by card so better to bring cash. Only thing possibly negative was I don't think they offer tap water, since the waitress was bringing out bottled water for everyone. I didn't mind though since it was only $1 and I'm not so sure about Newark tap.
